Land and Sky Unite in Tulum: NASCAR México and Airshow Tulum 2026 Headline a Historic Event
NASCAR México Makes History in Tulum
The roar of engines will be heard for the first time at Tulum International Airport on April 25 and 26, when the third round of the 2026 NASCAR México Series calendar takes place, alongside the Challenge Series, delivering a top-tier sporting event in the Mexican Caribbean.
NASCAR México has established itself as the leading development platform for national motorsport talent, producing drivers who have gone on to compete internationally. The most notable example is Daniel Suárez, the first graduate of the series to reach the NASCAR Cup Series in the United States, the championship’s premier division.
The inclusion of this race within an aerospace event represents an unprecedented strategic alliance between motorsport and the aviation industry, positioning Tulum as a new venue for internationally significant events.
Airshow Tulum 2026: Spectacle in the Sky
Activities will begin on April 23 with aerial exhibitions and demonstrations as part of FAMEX and Airshow Tulum 2026, offering attendees a comprehensive experience where technology, aviation, and entertainment converge in one space.
More than 30,000 visitors are expected during the event days. Authorities reported that logistics, security, hotel infrastructure, and tourism operations are fully prepared to welcome both national and international guests.
Tourism and Sports as Economic Drivers
The combination of NASCAR México and Airshow Tulum 2026 is projected to generate a significant impact on the promotion of tourism in the state of Quintana Roo and to strengthen its international positioning, reinforcing Mexico’s strategy to diversify sports and aerospace events.
Tickets will soon be available through the official channels of the Mexican Aerospace Fair (FAMEX).
Through this historic alliance of land and sky, Tulum is preparing for a weekend where adrenaline, innovation, and spectacle will take center stage.
